Goals & Objectives
Hermle Machine Company was constructing a new North American headquarters and was challenged to find a design solution for their reception area. Their architect was coming up short on design and the fabrication of what was proposed did not meet Hermle’s requirements or expectations. Valley was called in to re-design and re-create the look and feel of the reception area located at Hermle’s corporate headquarters in Germany.
Solution
Our solution was a custom-built reception desk. The structure was built of Absolute Black granite counter top, W-4 steel H beam rolled to exact matching counter radius and powder-coated Durana exotic red. Contemporary brushed aluminum along with laminated reveals were used to create the dynamic front fascia. The working area of the reception counter was built out in custom casework. Valley provided all of the design, fabrication, delivery and installation services for this project
Results
The success of this project required constant communication with Hermle’s general contractor to insure that all internal building needs which supported the tie-in of the reception area were accurately and correctly met. Hermle was very pleased with Valley’s final solution.
